Job Summary:
The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for coordinating with distributors and vendors in the automotive supply chain to ensure timely availability of quality materials. The role involves material verification, quality checks, coordination of transportation from dealer locations to company plants, and regular field-level interaction. The position is open to both freshers and experienced candidates who are willing to travel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with automotive distributors and dealers for sourcing of materials

  • Visit distributor locations to verify material quality, quantity, and specifications

  • Ensure proper dispatch and transportation of materials from dealer to company location

  • Follow up with transporters for timely delivery and documentation

  • Report any quality issues or deviations to the internal quality / procurement team

  • Maintain basic records related to sourcing, inspections, and deliveries

  • Build and maintain good relationships with distributors and logistics partners

  • Ensure compliance with company quality and sourcing standards


Requirements

Eligibility & Qualifications:

  • Minimum qualification: ITI (any technical trade preferred)

  • Freshers or candidates with relevant experience in sourcing / procurement / field coordination can apply

  • Basic understanding of automotive components or materials is an advantage

  • Willingness to travel frequently within assigned regions

  • Two-wheeler preferred for local travel (not mandatory)

  • Good communication and coordination skills

  • Basic understanding of quality checks and material handling

  • Ability to work independently in the field

  • Basic documentation and reporting skills

  • Time management and problem-solving ability
