Scrap Management

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and manage the entire scrap operations at our manufacturing plants in Bachau. This is a critical role that demands deep expertise in scrap handling within the steel industry, with a strong focus on operational efficiency, compliance, and revenue optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end scrap management processes across plant locations
• Manage scrap yard operations, including segregation, storage, and logistics
• Drive scrap sales through effective channels, including e-auctions and direct sales
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations related to scrap handling
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to streamline scrap flow
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for all scrap transactions
• Implement best practices for scrap valuation and inventory control

Requirements:

• Mandatory: Minimum 10–15 years of experience in scrap management within the steel industry
• Proven track record in handling large-scale scrap operations
• Expertise in scrap sales, e-auctions, and yard management
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Willingness to relocate to Bachau, Bhuj
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities
