Scratch Teacher

Codeyoung offers coding courses designed for kids aged 5 to 17, with a strong focus on creating a hands-on curriculum that sets distinct learning goals. Unlike traditional, teacher-centric models, our sessions are highly interactive and student-centric, ensuring an engaging learning environment.

This is a part-time remote role for a Scratch Teacher. The Scratch Teacher will be responsible for creating lesson plans, delivering engaging and interactive online classes, monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and fostering a positive learning environment. The Scratch Teacher will use Codeyoung's curriculum to help students achieve their learning goals in Scratch programming.

• Proficiency in Scratch programming and experience with coding education for children
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in creating lesson plans and managing online classroom settings
• Ability to engage and motivate young learners
• Adept at using digital tools and platforms for education
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
• Previous teaching experience, especially in coding or computer science, is a plus.
