Scrum Master

The IT Scrum Master plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of activities related to the company's Project Management Office (PMO) functions. This position will primarily be responsible, under limited supervision, for acting as the Scrum Master and/or Project Manager on various IT Agile initiatives in accordance with the company's Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.

Essential Functions:

• Guide project teams in implementing agile methodology rules to deliver rapid and reliable business products.

• Remove blockers or impediments that hinder project progress.

• Foster a good relationship/communication between the team, the Product Owner, and others outside of the team.

• Set up and facilitate sprint planning and other scrum meetings (i.e. backlog refinement, daily scrum, demos, etc.).
