Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Guide and coach AI teams in agile principles, promoting self-organization and accountability.
  • Act as a servant leader and coach to the development team, product owners, and stakeholders.
  • Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress or performance.
  • Track and manage team performance metrics (velocity, burndown, , providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a well-groomed, prioritized backlog.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the team through retrospectives and data-driven feedback loops.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, transparency, and ownership within AI-focused projects.
  • Support the adoption and evolution of agile frameworks tailored to the unique needs of AI development (., research spikes, model training delays, experimental feedback loops).
  • Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and agile teams across the organization to ensure alignment and dependencies are managed.

    • Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in agile software development environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Experience working with cross-functional tech teams, preferably in AI/ML or data science-focused environments.
  • Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal supervision.
  • Experience using agile project management tools (., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).

  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe SM, .
  • Prior experience working in AI, machine learning, or research-heavy product teams.
  • Familiarity with the AI development lifecycle (data pipelines, model experimentation, training, evaluation, deployment).
  • Background in software engineering, data science, or related technical field is a plus.
