Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Scrum Master to join a trusted leader in financial services, known for innovation, scale, and long-term focus for a full-time, remote contract position. The Scrum Master will guide Agile teams by applying Scrum principles, coaching for continuous improvement, and partnering with Product Owners to manage backlogs, remove impediments, and ensure effective Agile ceremonies.

Responsibilities of the Scrum Master include:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensure effective team collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Product Owners to manage backlogs, prioritize work, and deliver high-value outcomes aligned with product roadmaps.
  • Coach and mentor Agile teams to enhance performance, maturity, and adoption of Agile principles, practices, and tools.
