Job Summary

We are looking for SD-WAN Routing Platform Engineers with strong expertise in C programming, Linux-based platforms , and networking (L2/L3) . The role involves working across SD-WAN control plane, forwarding plane, and data plane components , including platform bring-up, secure boot, IPC mechanisms, and low-level system debugging. Candidates should be highly hands-on and capable of debugging complex system and networking issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SD-WAN routing platform software .
• Work on control plane, data plane, and forwarding plane components of SD-WAN solutions.
• Develop and optimize platform-level software using C on Linux systems.
• Handle platform bring-up , boot flow , secure boot , and system initialization.
• Implement and maintain inter-process communication (IPC) mechanisms.
• Work with microcode / low-level firmware interactions as required.
• Debug complex issues across platform, networking, and system layers.
• Collaborate with architecture, hardware, and QA teams for integration and validation.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in C programming .
• Solid expertise in Linux platforms , including boot process and system internals.
• Experience with platform software , secure boot , and system bring-up.
• In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN architecture , including:
• Control Plane
• Data Plane
• Forwarding Plane
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and L2/L3 protocols .
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills at system and protocol levels.
• Experience with IPC mechanisms (shared memory, sockets, message queues, etc.).

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

• Exposure to microcode or low-level firmware development.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools for debugging, development, or productivity.
• Familiarity with performance optimization and scalability in networking systems.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN security features and traffic steering mechanisms.
