Role: SDE-II/III (Backend)

Key Responsibilities:
- Architect for scale: Design and build distributed systems that handle millions of operations across enterprise ecosystems
- Build AI-powered systems: Develop autonomous agents that reason, plan, and execute complex multi-step workflows
- Own end-to-end: Take features from design to production—no hand-offs, full ownership
- Ship with velocity: Deploy multiple times a day; iterate fast based on customer feedback
- Build developer experience: Create APIs, SDKs, and tooling that developers love to use
- Drive technical decisions: Influence architecture, establish best practices, and set the technical direction
- Elevate the team: Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and raise the engineering bar
- Close the loop: Work directly with customers and cross-functional teams to understand problems deeply
Role Information:
- Tech stack: Go, Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS
- Deployment cadence: Multiple times per day
- Team: Small, senior engineering team working directly with founders
- Building: Agentic AI systems, high-throughput data pipelines, enterprise integrations
- Customers: CTOs, CPOs at $50M+ ARR software companies and Fortune 500 enterprises
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Pedigree: B.Tech/M.Tech from IIT, BITS, or equivalent Tier-1 institution
- Battle-tested: 3 + years of hands-on software development building production systems at scale
- Technical depth: Expert-level proficiency in Go and Node.js—you've shipped production systems with both
- Systems thinker: Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalable architecture, and system design
- Startup DNA: Experience at a high-growth startup (Series A–C) or have been part of the 0→1 or 1→10 journey
- Technical leader: Demonstrated leadership—you've led projects, influenced architecture, or mentored engineers without needing a manager title
- Data expertise: Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Infrastructure-savvy: Familiarity with message queues (Kafka), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD
- CS fundamentals: Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization
Nice to Have:
- Experience building AI/ML-powered products or working with LLMs in production
- Background in platform engineering, developer tools, or integration platforms
- Exposure to enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow)
- Experience working with US customers across time zones
