What You’ll Do

• Contribute to the quality assurance of assigned modules under guidance.
• Execute manual testing of backend APIs and front-end applications using:
• Black Box
• Functional, Integration, Smoke, Sanity & Ad-hoc Testing
• Assist in developing and maintaining automation scripts for API and UI (Mobile & Web) using existing frameworks.
• Perform basic debugging , analyze logs, and support the team in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) .
• Execute automation suites and help in test report generation .
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and senior SDETs to understand requirements and test scenarios.
• Support CI/CD pipelines by running jobs on Jenkins and validating test results.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in QA / SDET roles, preferably in consumer tech, e-commerce, retail, or internet-based companies .
• Basic to intermediate experience in UI and API automation testing .
• Working knowledge of one or more programming languages:
• Java / Python / JavaScript / TypeScript
• Familiarity with automation tools:
• Selenium / Appium / Playwright (hands-on with at least one)
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI .
• Understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG .
• Basic understanding of databases (DML, DDL, joins, aggregates).
• Strong learning mindset , problem-solving ability, and good communication skills.
