SDET / Automation Test Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer  with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for API and UI testing  across cloud and AI-driven platforms. The ideal candidate has deep technical experience in Python-based automation, CI/CD integration, and cross-functional collaboration in Agile environments.Key Responsibilities

• Automation Framework Design & Maintenance:
•  Develop and enhance scalable, modular test automation frameworks using Python, Selenium WebDriver, Pytest, and Allure Reports  for UI and API testing.
• End-to-End Quality Ownership:
•  Drive Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and UAT  testing cycles for complex systems ensuring product quality and stability before release.
• API & Integration Testing:
•  Leverage Postman, Swagger, JMeter , and Python libraries for functional, performance, and integration testing of REST APIs.
• Continuous Integration & Deployment:
•  Integrate automation suites with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines , ensuring seamless automated builds, reports, and test execution.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
•  Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to define test strategies, prioritize issues, and ensure test coverage across releases.
• Agile QA Leadership:
•  Participate in Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Daily Standups , contributing to QA best practices and continuous improvement.
• Cloud & AI Testing Exposure:
•  Validate data-driven and ML-based systems across Azure / AWS / GCP , including AI-powered application workflows.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Automation & Manual Testing , preferably in SaaS, AI, or Cloud environments.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python , Selenium WebDriver , Pytest , Jenkins , Postman , and JMeter .
• Experience building and maintaining end-to-end test automation frameworks  from scratch.
• Sound understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile / Scrum  methodologies.
• Familiarity with MySQL / MongoDB  databases and GitHub / GitLab  source control.
• Exposure to performance testing , security validation , and cross-browser/device compatibility .
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and mentor junior QA members.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience with AI / ML-based testing , video/audio processing systems , or cloud-native architectures .
• Knowledge of Docker , Kubernetes , or CI observability tools .
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification (a plus).
