SDET + Dev Ops Engineer (Performance Lab Automation)
Role: Senior SDET / Dev Ops Engineer – Performance Lab
Experience: 6–10 years
Division: HCL Software (App Scan Product Team)
About the Role:
Looking for a hands-on SDET / Dev Ops Engineer to build and automate the performance test lab for HCL App Scan Enterprise.
You’ll design and execute load tests, automate environment setup, integrate tests into CI/CD, and analyse performance results.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain test automation frameworks ; integrate with Jenkins / Git Lab CI. Automate setup, patching, and provisioning of Liberty + IIS + DB environments. Run load, stress, and scalability tests using JMeter / k6 / Gatling. Capture metrics, logs, and traces to detect and debug regressions.
Collaborate with Dev & QA on performance fixes and pipelines. Required Skills: 6–10 yrs in Automation / SDET / Dev Ops roles. Strong scripting (Power Shell, Python or Bash).
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops).
Exposure to Liberty / IIS / SQL DB setups and containerized apps. Knowledge of load testing tools and basic observability (Grafana, ELK, etc.). Why Join: Blend of Automation + Dev Ops + Performance in a global enterprise product team.
