Role Definition

For support on Feed and/or project with EHTF technologies Rigid subsea pipeline design engineer with recent experience in this domain. Profile shall be familiar with main in-place pipeline design activities as sizing, stability, FEM analyses for lateral buckling and pipeline walking. The engineer will integrate a team dedicated to flowline in-place design for execution of projects and tenders.Consultant will support to FEED/project team by: 

  • Performing various pipeline design tasks including preliminary design checks to detailed analyses as required. 
  • Performing pipeline detailed design analyses (by FEA) 
  • Providing support to procurement activities for the scope in ownership: preparation of MTOs, review and follow-up of supplier offers and technical deliverables 
  • Prepare and participate to peer/design reviews with Client 
  • Identify technology gaps, prepare and follow-up of qualification plans for new product as applicable 

    • Qualification

  • Offshore pipe design (4-5 Years level of expertise), heat-trace experience is a plus 
  • Finite Element Analyses and Abaqus software 
  • Pipeline design codes and standards (API, DNV) 
  • Technical value to EHTF pipeline design & optimization proposals Mathcad and/or Excel calculation facility to create and check calculations 
  • Perform and write technical reports (in English).
