Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior SEO Specialist with 8+ years of proven expertise in search engine optimization and hands-on experience managing a team of 20+ members. The ideal candidate should be highly strategic, data-driven, and capable of leading large SEO operations, ensuring daily task tracking, performance monitoring, and continuous growth across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 20+ SEO executives/specialists.
- Plan and execute end-to-end SEO strategies (On-page, Off-page, Technical SEO).
- Assign daily tasks and ensure regular task updates, reporting, and follow-ups.
- Monitor team performance and conduct daily/weekly review meetings.
- Develop and implement SEO roadmaps, keyword strategies, and content optimization plans.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery.
- Perform in-depth competitor analysis, market research, and SEO audits.
- Collaborate with content, design, development, and marketing teams.
- Track rankings, traffic, conversions, and prepare detailed performance reports.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and best practices.
- Manage client communication (if applicable) and present strategy/performance updates.
- Optimize websites for high organic growth, lead generation, and ROI.
Required Skills & Expertise
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SEO.
- Proven experience in handling and managing teams of 20 or more members.
- Strong knowledge of:
- On-page SEO
- Off-page SEO
- Technical SEO
- Local & Global SEO
- Expertise with tools like:
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
- Ahrefs / SEMrush / Screaming Frog
- Excellent understanding of HTML, CSS, site architecture, and page speed optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in agency environment or handling multiple brands/projects.
- Experience working with large websites and high-traffic platforms.
- Immediate joiner or short notice period preferred.
- Strong decision-making and people-management skills.
