About the Role

Talent Space is seeking a forward-thinking strategist to bridge the gap between traditional Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). This role is 100% remote with quarterly travel to California.



Key Responsibilities


  • Advanced SEO & GEO Strategy:


    • Move beyond traditional keywords to ensure search engines understand the relationships between our brands, conditions, and scientific data.

    • Lead the strategy for "Answer Engine Optimization," optimizing content for AI Overviews (AIO), ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity with a focus on citation authority, structured data, and content architecture.

    • Oversee technical SEO health across Genentech’s portfolio using Google Search Console and other tools. Drive implementation of advanced Schema markup to communicate effectively with LLMs.
