Job Overview:
The SEO & Google Ads Specialist is responsible for driving local online visibility and lead generation through data-driven organic and paid search strategies. This role focuses on local SEO, Google Maps optimization, and Google Guaranteed (Local Services Ads) to position businesses at the top of search results, increase qualified leads, and maximize ROI. The ideal candidate is analytical, results-oriented, and experienced in managing performance-focused campaigns in competitive local markets.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
- Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles to improve Google Maps rankings.
- Create, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search and Local Services Ads).
- Manage and optimize Google Guaranteed campaigns, including verification processes.
- Conduct keyword research focused on high-intent local searches.
- Analyze performance metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROI) and produce performance reports.
- Optimize conversion rates (CRO) for landing pages and ads.
- Manage online reviews, local citations, and overall online reputation.
- Implement continuous improvements based on data analysis and A/B testing.
- Stay up to date with Google algorithm updates and industry trends.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in SEO and Google Ads.
- Strong knowledge of local SEO and Google Maps ranking factors.
- Experience working with the U.S. market.
- Hands-on experience managing Google Local Services Ads / Google Guaranteed.
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Proven experience optimizing campaigns focused on lead generation.
