Job Summary

This job is for seasonal periods when we need temporary labor. Responsible for specialized construction of segmental retaining wall systems. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities Unloads materials on site that are to be used in the construction of retaining walls. Placing, raking, and shoveling stone to build a level footer for placing segmental block. Hooking chains, stacking, straightening, leveling, and shimming block to build a wall level wall consistent with the construction documents. Identify incorrect/short shipped items and immediately notify supervisor. Operate skid-steer or excavator to transport and place materials where designated by supervisor. Place all materials necessary during construction of the retaining wall system such as block, goe-grid, fabric, drainage pipe, etc. Maintain an understanding of all the products that are used on a retaining wall project, and how to use them.
