Seasonal Grounds Co-op

RESPONSIBILITIES

·maintains gardens and turf areas, including: weeding, pruning, watering, cultivating, mowing and power trimming;

·plants gardens (flowers, shrubs and trees), sodding or seeding turf areas;

·repairs hardscape areas (walkways and roadways);

·garbage removal as per schedule;

·assists with irrigation repairs and minor installs;

·weather depending, snow removal is a possibility;

WORKING CONDITIONS:

·various weather conditions;

·handling heavy loads;

·combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching and kneeling;

QUALIFICATIONS:

·must enjoy working outdoors;

·a valid driver’s license;

·capability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, complete repetitive tasks and pay attention to detail;

·able to work independently and in a team environment;

·keeps safety as a number one priority in all activities;

·good communication skills;
