Job Description

Role:

Design development of seating / seat belt system

Responsibility:

  • Design evaluation of seat / seat belt components integration in vehicle environment as per program schedule quality targets
  • Cost and weight monitoring at part sub-system level

Technical Competencies:

  • Testing of seating / seat belt systems
  • Countermeasure planning, as necessary, based on design / quality reviews, line feedback testing
  • Experience of design / development in at-least one domain area in any of the following:
  • Plastic / sheet metal / PU pad / trim fabric
  • Seat mechanism
  • Seat belts
  • Seat / seat belt testing
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and costing function

Educational Qualification:

  • Specialization in Mechanical or Production Engineering
  • Minimum - 60% marks throughout education
