Overview
A busy IT team in Swindon is looking for a 2nd Line Engineer to take on a varied, hands‑on support role. You’ll work across internal systems and client environments, tackling a steady mix of technical issues and getting involved in day‑to‑day problem‑solving. There will also be occasional visits to customer sites, adding some variety to your week without taking you away from core support work.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line support for Windows Server, Active Directory, Windows 11, and Microsoft 365 / O365
- Troubleshoot networking, security, and endpoint management issues
- Manage tickets and SLAs using Datto Autotask (ITSM)
- Assist with Intune / device management
- Support IT service implementation projects and helpdesk processes
- Perform occasional on-site visits to customer environments
