Secondary SEMH Teacher – Alternative or Specialist Setting

Location: South Shields
Pay: £120–£220 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing
Start Date: As soon as possible

We are recruiting a Secondary SEMH Teacher to work with pupils who require a more personalised and trauma-informed approach to education.

This role supports young people who may have experienced challenges in mainstream education and benefit from smaller class sizes and structured routines.

Key responsibilities:
• Teaching pupils with SEMH needs
• Delivering engaging, adapted lessons
• Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
• Building strong, consistent relationships
• Working closely with pastoral teams

This role is ideal for someone who:
