Laing O'Rourke are looking for a Section Engineer to work on a major power infrastructure project on behalf of the National Grid – Great Grid Upgrade.

The Section Engineer will be responsible for the site management of the geotechnical and archaeological investigation works scheduled to commence in February 2026. The successful candidate will be working for a Project Engineer and alongside a Construction Manager, to manage and deliver the scheduled package of work. A Section Engineer is technically responsible for, and able to manage, a section of works. They typically supervise and manage a team of 2 to 4 technicians and site engineers.
