Section Engineer – Highways

Our client is looking for an Experienced Section Engineer to work within the Cambridgeshire area.

The contract runs for at least 3 months with the view to ongoing.

£280 – 320pd

The work will be on the A14 Improvement Scheme whichis one of the largest road projects in the UK, stretching over 21 miles between Huntingdon and Cambridge.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the sub-contractors and overseeing the Site Engineers on site.
• Assisting the Sub Agent/Site Agent on the scheme.
• Reviewing, amending and writing relevant method statements and risk assessments.
• Carrying out quality inspections and ensure your section meets expected quality standards. and deadlines accordingly
• Providing liaison between the Sub Agent and client on site.
