SECTION ENGINEER - MAJOR AIRPORT INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT (MANCHESTER REGION)

A leading UK infrastructure and civil engineering contractor is seeking a Section Engineer to support delivery of a major airport expansion project located in the Manchester region.

The project consists of multiple new buildings, significant infrastructure works, highways, drainage, and enabling works, forming part of a large-scale west-side airport development. This is a long-term role on a technically challenging scheme.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a defined section of works from start to completion
• Technical leadership of Site Engineers and supervision teams
• Preparation and review of RAMS, ITPs, and work packages
• Short‑term planning and coordination of labour and subcontractors
• Ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are achieved
• Liaising with site management and commercial teams
