Would you like to be responsible for supporting assigned facilities and projects and for Radiation protection (RP) program management and oversight? This position at Chalk River offers the opportunity to provide technical support and develop and implement elements of the RP compliance program.

What will you be doing

• Developing and implementing RP controls, processes and procedures.
• Completing radiological safety and dose assessments.
• Performing ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) and post-work ALARA assessments and reviews.
• Reviewing design documents.
• Reviewing and approving requests to release material and personnel involved in contamination events out of the Controlled Area.
