About the role

A global company within the resources sector are looking to hire a security architect on a permanent basis in Sydney, working in a hybrid capacity.

The role will be working to create an internal cyber security function across IT and OT and increase overall cyber security maturity through design.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a cross-functional architecture team
  • Create security architecture frameworks and guidelines
  • Translate complex security projects and jargon to non-technical stakeholders
  • Work with external vendors and third parties
  • Contribute to hands on technical conversations where required

Key Skills:

  • Deep cyber security experience with a couple of years within architecture
  • Experience within OT environments
  • Strong hands-on knowledge within IAM, PAM, SIEM/SOC, Network Segmentation, Firewalls, Endpoint security, ETC
  • Stakeholder management
  • Any relevant certifications
