A Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Security Architect to design, review and assure secure system and solution architectures within a highly classified environment. This role focuses on security risk, accreditation and compliance, working as part of a specialist cyber security team supporting mission-critical capabilities. This role offers an initial 12 month contract with 2 x 12-month extensions across ACT.

The successful Security Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Deliver complex security design and implementation activities
• Ensure compliance with legislation, policy and ACSC requirements
• Provide independent, expert security and policy advice
• Develop and review security policies, procedures and controls
• Manage complex security issues and sensitive initiatives

The successful Security Architect will have experiences in the following:

• Lead security requirements, threat and risk assessments
• Review existing security controls and recommend enhancements
• Develop and maintain SAPs, SRMPs and security documentation
• Drive solutions through certification and accreditation with stakeholders
• Review security artefacts and advise on threats, risks and mitigations
