Security Governance Analyst

Athabasca University's VP Information Technology and CIO is recruiting for a Security Governance Analyst. 

This position is based in Alberta.

The Position:

The GRC/ Governance Analyst is a vital member of the Digital Security team, responsible for coordinating internal and external audits and driving remediation efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. This role also supports the execution of the Security Awareness Program and leads Security Governance initiatives, including the development, maintenance, communication, and enforcement of security policies. The analyst works closely with stakeholders across the organization to foster a strong security culture, support audit readiness, and maintain effective risk and compliance processes.
