Security Network Consulting Engineer

Description

We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Consulting Engineer with 3 to 4 years of experience to support service delivery handling – Customer Onboarding, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and Professional Day services . The role focuses primarily on transforming Customer networks to Aryaka SD-WAN & Unified SASE coupled together with implementing Day 0 firewall configuration , and customer-facing Technical consulting engagements. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on technical expertise with strong communication skills to design, implement, and validate modern network security architectures for enterprise customers.What You’ll Do

Design, document, validate, and implement firewall, SD-WAN, SASE, and ZTNA architectures for new and existing customer environments in line with defined SOPs , validating implementations through functional, performance, and security testing.

Collaborate with pre-sales and sales teams to execute POCs ensuring successful technical delivery

As a part of Professional Services, Perform Day 0 configurations migrations from 3rd Party firewall/SASE solutions in line with customer requirements and best practices.

Configure and deploy:

SD-WAN

Configure and deploy SD-WAN including NAT, routing, and overlay connectivity.

Implement SLA-based path selection, traffic engineering, and QoS for application performance.

Enable link failover, load balancing, and centralized SD-WAN management.

Help customers Integrate customer network with Public IAAS/SAAS providers

ZTNA

Deploy ZTNA solutions to provide secure, identity- and application-based remote access.

Define user, device, and application-level access policies aligned with Zero Trust principles.

Integrate ZTNA with identity providers and replace traditional VPN access.

SASE

Configure SASE architectures integrating SD-WAN with cloud-delivered security services.

Implement policy-based access for internet, SaaS, and private application traffic.

Validate end-to-end security, visibility, and performance across branch, remote, and cloud users.

Provide best-practice recommendations aligned with Zero Trust Security principles.

What You Need to Bring

Strong understanding of Networking Fundamentals such as TCP/IP, Switching & Routing, VPN , NAT/PAT, VPN, High Availability

Familiarity with Security concepts such as Stateful firewalling, Web/App filtering, IPS, AV protection, DLP, CASB, Identity (IDP) / SIEM integration

Good understanding of SDWAN, SASE concepts together with Cloud and Hybrid environments

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

3 to 4 years of experience in network security, firewall implementation, and consulting

Relevant certifications preferred: CCNA/CCNP (Network or Security), PCNSA/PCNSE, Fortinet NSE 3 to 4, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, or AWS Solutions Architect Associate (SAA) and other cloud certifications
