Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Control access at entry points for a food and beverage production and/or distribution location by checking identification, processing visitor logs and issuing temporary credentials per site policy.Verify deliveries, vendor arrivals and scheduled appointments against approved access lists and coordinate with site contacts when clarification is needed.Monitor gates, doors, loading areas and other access points, reporting irregular activity and/or policy violations to site leadership.Operate access control systems, radios, phones and basic computer applications to support security-related reporting and communication.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including interior and exterior areas as assigned. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.Complete shift activity reports, incident documentation and pass-down information with accurate details and timely notifications.Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with site evacuations and/or access restrictions when required.Help to deter unauthorized access and/or theft by maintaining a professional presence and following post orders.Minimum Requirements:
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
