Security Officer

About the Role: Mitie has an exciting opportunity for a Retail Security Officer in Lidl Store in Hedge End- Southampton. Responsibilities

• Act as a visual deterrent on the shop floor
• Safely detain offenders following H&S training
• Utilize store security systems, including CCTV and EAS gates
• Collaborate with covert security operatives
• Investigate losses and support inquiries about known offenders
• Complete accurate incident reports and company documentation
• Report crime incidents using a company-provided tablet
• Conduct routine patrols to ensure customer safety
• Record patrols in daily activity sheets
