Security Platform Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Platform Engineer to join our Global Data Centers – Office of Information Security (GDC‑OIS) team. This role is ideal for a seasoned security professional with strong expertise in threat hunting, CrowdStrike, network security, and advanced operational security functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats across enterprise environments.
• Administer and maintain security tools, SIEM platforms, and log collection mechanisms.
• Perform incident handling, malware analysis, network forensics, and vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate on remediation strategies, automation opportunities, and security improvements.
• Investigate and resolve escalated incidents, ensuring detailed logging and documentation.
• Work in a 24/7 global team, with exposure to ICS/SCADA environments preferred.
• Lead security-related projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• Preferred certifications: CySA+, PenTest+, CCSP, GCIH, OSCP, GRID, GICSP, AZ‑500, SC‑200.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, IAM, PAM, threat hunting, SOAR, Zero Trust, networking, Windows & Linux.
• Hands‑on experience with tools such as CrowdStrike, Qualys, Palo Alto, Splunk, QRadar, Cisco, VMware, Ubuntu.
• Prior experience in SOC/CSIRT operations and handling end‑to‑end security incidents.
