SECURITY SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a Security Specialist in the NAVEUR/NAVAF and SIXTHFLT of COMMANDER US NAVAL FORCES EUROPE, Italy. Responsibilities You will provide technical direction to subordinate Directorate/Commander Task Force leadership regarding all aspects of physical security. You will interpret Executive, DOD, and DON regulations and laws for security processes, and incorporate additional security requirements unique to the overseas environment into a Standard Operating Procedure. You will execute and enforce all operational, functional, and mission assurance aspects of the Command’s Personnel Security Program. You will provide senior leadership with expert advice when conducting reviews of security classification management and declassification policies, standards, and security management guides.
