Security Supervisor

Purpose of Position

:Under the direction of the Director and Manager of Security, supervises the day-to-day operations of the Security department in related to protecting the safety and security of patients, visitors, staff and physicians in an effective and efficient manner.

Description

:

1. Provides for the optimum utilization of officers by creating assignments and supervising them effectively. 
2. Reviews and evaluates employee performance and initiates corrective action/education, if necessary.
3. Assist with the development of departmental budgetary needs and makes recommendations for these needs to the Manager and/or Director
4. Assists in interviewing and selecting new officers. 
5. Assist with the development and implementation of Security Officer training.
6. Conducts investigations into complaints and violations of security regulations and recommends course of action to the Manager and Director of Security. Implements a...
