At Zurich Capability Center, we are looking for a Security Test Engineer .

The role focuses on ensuring that security testing deliverables meet the highest technical security standards, with a special emphasis on providing penetration testing and application security toolset administration support for the Security Testing BTS Team.

Key responsibilities include working closely with the Test Service Manager and Test Manager on manual penetration testing deliverables, assessing team technical requirements, and serving as the primary SPOC on technical discussions and meetings with stakeholders and clients. The role also ensures global support for Zurich IT projects to enable comprehensive penetration testing, SAST, DAST, and IAST toolset management.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and support the Security Test Engineering team on all technical activities.
• Conduct and/or support authorized penetration testing on enterprise network assets.
• Review reports and recommendations from findings, including issues discovered and levels of risk when required.
• Lead finding agreement sessions with internal clients and propose solutions to identified vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on target access and operational issues.
• Create comprehensive exploitation strategies that identify exploitable technical or operational vulnerabilities.
• Perform penetration testing for new or updated applications.
• Supervise thorough documentation of implementations through technical documentation and runbooks.
• Lead internal and external teams in applying systems automation platforms and technologies.
• Interpret security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate risks to stakeholders ranging from business leaders to engineers.
• Automate security controls, data, and processes to provide improved metrics and operational support.
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.
• Spot and execute new security technologies and best practices.
