Purpose of the Role

The Manager – Segment Billing Home is responsible for managing revenue operations for Home business. The role ensures accurate revenue accounting, billing governance, taxation compliance, and commercial controls across high-volume, transaction-led digital platforms. The position partners closely with business, finance and technology teams to support monetization, pricing, billing accuracy, and revenue assurance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end commercial operations for Home businesses, including billing, revenue recognition, and financial controls.
  • Ensure accurate revenue accounting and closures in line with accounting standards and internal governance frameworks.
  • Support monetization models such as ad inventory monetization, revenue share, platform commissions, and gaming transactions.
  • Oversee billing validation, reconciliations, and exception resolution for high-volume digital transactions.
  • Ensure taxation and regulatory compliance (GST, withholding taxes, platform-specific regulations) in coordination with tax and legal teams.
  • Partner with product, sales, ad-ops, and gaming business teams on pricing structures, commercial terms, and new launches.
  • Drive commercial controls and risk mitigation to prevent revenue leakage and ensure audit readiness.
  • Support automation and dashboard-based reporting for revenue tracking, performance KPIs, and exception monitoring.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits, reviews, and assessments.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and scalability across Home and Home operations.
