SEN Teaching Assistant Key Stage 2 SEMH Support
Some children need more than encouragement. They need patience, structure, and someone who stays calm when emotions run high. This SEN Teaching Assistant role is about being that steady presence for pupils in Key Stage 2 who are developing their social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
Based in a mainstream primary school in Coventry CV6, you’ll work with small groups of pupils with SEMH needs. Sessions are led by an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant, so you’ll have guidance, consistency, and the chance to learn while making a real difference.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting small groups of Key Stage 2 pupils with SEMH needs.

Helping children engage positively with learning and daily routines.

Using calm, consistent approaches to support emotional regulation and behaviour.
