SEMH Tutor, up to GBP30 ph

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced, passionate and patient Tutor, who has experience with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We have a referral available to work a young person in Year 9 within Berwick Library. This particular referral is for 4 hours a week, with scope to build your timetable with other referrals.
This young person has a low academic ability due to being out of school for a long period of time because of their SEMH needs. To be successful in this role, you will have to be patient and focus on building a rapport with this young person. This role is to start ASAP, it would be ideal if applicants had a DBS on the update service.

Within this role, you must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons as a means of alternate education. One of your aims will be to support and re-engage a pupil in their learning, offer structure back into their daily routine, co...
