SEMH Tutor – North Shields

In-Person Tuition – 3-15 Hours per Week
Key Stages 3 & 4 | English, Maths & Science

Prospero Teaching is recruiting experienced SEMH Tutors to provide tailored, in-person educational support to secondary-aged students in the North Shields area. This role involves working with young people who are currently accessing education outside of mainstream school due to Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role

Tutors will work on a 1:1 or small group basis with learners who may experience emotional dysregulation, anxiety, low confidence, or difficulties engaging with formal learning. Many of the students we support are working towards reintegration into education and benefit from a calm, consistent, and supportive approach.
