Learning Support Assistant (LSA) SEMH experience -secondary school, supporting students aged 11–16.


This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and emotionally.


The Role


  • Support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in the classroom and through targeted interventions




  • Work closely with teachers, SEN staff and external professionals to support individual learning plans




  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement in learning




  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support their wellbeing and progress




  • Support students during lessons, break times and structured activities as required
