Learning Support Assistant | Perfect for aspiring Psychologists | January start

We are a successful, warm & welcoming Secondary school in the north-east London borough of Waltham Forest, and we are looking to appoint several Learning Support Assistants (LSA) for a January start. This role will involve you working with a small number of SEN students throughout the school. The children you will be working with have needs such as:Dyslexia, Learning & Behavior difficulties and mild Autism (ASD).

You will be working with pupils on a 1:1 basis, as well as working in the Learning Support Center helping with Maths, English, Science and more activities. Lessons will be pre-planned with a clear outline of what’s expected and where progress is supposed to be made. Your line manager will be the school SENCO, where she will give you clear guidance throughout.
