SEN Learning Support Assistant

Leader Education is seeking a caring and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a school in Hexham, Northumberland . This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) by providing tailored support to help them achieve their full potential.

The working hours are Monday-Friday 8:30-3:30

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with SEND in the classroom on a 1:1 or small group basis
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Supporting pupils’ learning, social, and emotional development
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals
