Sen Learning Support HLTA

Job description

As an HLTA in an SEN school, you will support teaching and learning by delivering structured lessons, leading interventions and working closely with teaching staff to meet the individual needs of pupils. You will play a key role in supporting pupils' academic progress, emotional wellbeing and personal development.
You may be required to provide whole-class cover, support behaviour management strategies, and adapt learning to suit a wide range of abilities and needs.

Key Duties
* Lead whole-class learning using pre-planned lessons
* Support teachers with lesson preparation, delivery and assessment
* Deliver targeted one-to-one and small group interventions
* Support pupils with SEN including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, SLD and PMLD
