Overview
SEN Specialist. Role: LSA/TA. Hours: 8:30-3:30
Protocol Education is currently working closely with mainstream primary schools in Richmond who are seeking qualified and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistants to work with them on long term basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with speech and language difficulties or behavioural issues.
- Work with pupils using or learning communication strategies such as Makaton and PECS.
- Support inclusion and assist with learning activities under the supervision of teaching staff.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience of working with pupils on a 1:1 basis.
- Knowledge of Makaton, PECS, autism or related behavioural needs is beneficial.
- Clear CV showing relevant experience and education.
