SEND Support Assistant – Street, Somerset

Location: Street, Somerset
Pay: £ per hour (PAYE) or £ per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Full-time, long-term


Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a SEND Support Staff to join a specialist school in Somerset, supporting students in aged 5 – 18 who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for Autism, Anxiety and associated needs.


The Role

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Autism, Anxiety and associated needs.

  • Assist in implementing individual education plans and behaviour strategies.

  • Work closely with teachers and the SEN team to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

  • Support pupils in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and academic progress.
