Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN, both in the classroom and in withdrawal sessions.
Support the implementation of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and differentiated learning activities.
Work collaboratively with class teachers and the ALNCo to adapt materials and approaches to meet individual needs.
Assist pupils in developing independence, social skills, and confidence.
Support with personal care needs where required, in a respectful and sensitive manner.
Contribute to the monitoring, recording, and reporting of pupils’ progress.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
