Oakfield Primary Academy is looking to recruit two SEN Associate Teachers on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2026.

The salary is £24,513 full time equivalent, actual pro rata salary £18,287.81, plus an SEN payment. This salary is based on working 32.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 38 weeks per year.

We are looking for an Associate Teacher who has good SEN experience - someone who is good with behaviours, robust and can think on their feet when dealing with children who exhibit challenging behaviour. They will be able to work on a 1:1 level with pupils, as well as supporting small groups of pupils who require guidance and strategies to understand academic and behavioural expectations to participate in mainstream teaching, wherever possible.
