SEN Teaching Assistant - Durham

Are you a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive school environment? Available to work full time, 5 days a week between the hours of 8.30-3.30? We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN TA to work with one of our schools to support students with special educational needs (SEN) in both Primary/Secondary schools across Durham
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs
Assist the teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities
Support students with emotional regulation, social skills, and communication
Use a range of strategies and interventions to meet individual needs
Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
