SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

We are looking for a teaching assistant with a real passion for helping children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will be qualified/experience. Newly qualified lvl 2 and lvl 3 Teaching assistants are welcome to apply.

* Location – Leeds
* Position – SEN Teaching Assistant
* Contract or position start date – October 6th
* Duration / Likely Duration – Long-Term Contract
* Full time/Part time – Full time
* Rate of pay – GBP85 – GBP115 per day (depending on experience)
* Hours 8:30 am 3:30pm : Mon Fri (term time only)

Responsibilities:
Support and scaffold children in the classroom.
Prepare resources with the teacher.
Work effectively in Partnership with other professionals and parents/carers.
Able to adapt practice to support the varied needs of children.
