Teaching Assistant - Secondary SEN School (Autism Focus)
Location: Oldham

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with autism? We are a welcoming and inclusive secondary SEN school seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) .

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with pupils aged 11-16 with autism and associated needs

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to help students access learning

  • Support communication, emotional regulation, and social development

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, structured lessons

  • Help create a calm, safe, and nurturing learning environment
