SEN Teaching Assistant

Contract: Term‑time only (39 weeks) - Monday to Friday, approx. 8:30-15:30
Salary: Competitive daily/annual rate from £90 -£ 110 via PAYE

About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated Primary SEND Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school. You'll support a mainstream Primary class, delivering targeted academic and pastoral care. Your focus will include one-to-one and small-group work with pupils with special educational needs-particularly those with autism, ADHD, speech/language difficulties, SEMH, and MLD.

Collaborating closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals (. speech and language therapists), you'll help adapt learning materials, support intervention sessions, and play an active part in tracking progress and contributing to SEN meetings and EHCP reviews.
